HEART UK is the UK’s only cholesterol charity. Our mission is to prevent early disease and deaths from cholesterol and other blood fat (lipid) conditions in the UK. By providing support, information and influencing cholesterol services for families and health professionals, our aim is for people to know and understand their cholesterol and other blood fat (lipid) levels and take appropriate action.
We’re always striving to create a happier and healthier UK and we believe that can be achieved through simple steps like a change of diet - which is where our partnerships with food companies come in!

California Walnuts are grown with care in the perfect conditions of the Californian sun. The CWC (California Walnuts Company) is involved in scientific research examining the nutritional value of walnuts and explore the role of walnuts in a healthy diet. We were thrilled to partner with the CWC and create a campaign based on their product.
That campaign consisted of a short quiz testing people on their cholesterol knowledge with the chance to win healthy walnut goodies. After just one week of promotion, we had already received the contact information for almost 500 new people that wanted to hear more advice and guidance from HEART UK.
As you can see below, we created some great engagement and spent less than £100.00 on promotion:
